The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), with support from the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), will conduct a one-day interactive workshop on the Freight Performance Measurement (FPM) initiative. The FPM initiative is a federally-led research effort that utilizes data from commercial vehicles, gathered via Global Positioning Systems (GPS), satellite and cellular technologies, to derive measures of speed, travel time and travel reliability.  Presenters will demonstrate FPMweb, a web-based data processing tool, and the National Corridors GIS tool.
